  CARRIE R. THOMAS
  
  Carrie Rella Thomas, 82, of Salisbury, died Sunday, March 27, 1994, at the
  Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home in Grantsville, Md.  She was born on May 6,
  1911 in Boynton, a daughter of the late George G. and Annie (Reckner)
  Bowman.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley M. Thomas
  and a son, Garfield F. Thomas.  Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker and a member of
  St. John's United Church of Christ.  She was the former registrar of
  Salisbury Borough, Elk Lick and Greenville Townships.  Surviving are one
  son, S. Bowman Thomas, Salisbury; one brother, Bernard Bowman, Meyersdale;
  one sister, Myrtle Pearson, Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren and 10
  great-grandchildren.  Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home,
  Salisbury on Tuesday, where services were conducted Wednesday by Rev.
  Raymond Brown.  Interment will be at Salisbury Cemetery.
