Thomas, 43, Whitehorse Road, Berlin, died Jan. 20, 1999, at her residence. Born May 25, 1955, in Oakland, Md., the daughter of Harold and Ellen (Savage) Hardesty. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Harold Jr. Survived by husband, James G. Thomas, and son, Andrew Romesberg; brothers Rodney Hardesty of Somerset, and Kevin Hardesty, married to the former Beverly Bumbarger, of Somerset; brother-in-law Joseph G. Thomas, married to Joyce Nakasaki of Redondo Beach, Calif.; sister-in-law Linda Thomas Atkinson, and nieces Amber Hardesty and Molly and Paige Atkinson, all of Somerset. Graduate of Somerset Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh. Employee of Somerset County Children and Youth Services. A member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, with the Rev. John Palko officiating. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.
