Thomas, 55, Treadwell, passed away unexpectedly May 12, 2005, at the AO Fox Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 10, 1949, in Indiana, Pa., the son of Jesse Mac and Thelma Maxine (Carnahan) Thomas. He is preceded in death by son, Edward Stone and his mother. He is survived by wife, the former Mary Elizabeth Cunert whom he married Dec. 31, 1987, in Greenwood Lake; father, Jesse Mac Thomas, DuBois; children, Caitlin and Michael Thomas, Treadwell; sister, Diane Endress, DuBois; as well as several aunts, uncles, one niece, one nephew, one great-nephew and several cousins. David served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971. For many years David was a crane operator working out of International Union of Operating Engineers 825, Springfield, N.J., and prior to that he was affiliated with Local 66 out of Monroeville. David enjoyed painting outdoor scenes and working around his property. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He especially loved the special times spent with his children. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, 425 Main St., Franklin, N.Y., where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev.
