  Edward J. Thomas, 73, Hollsopple RD 2, died Dec. 25, 1993, at Conemaugh
  hospital.  His death breaks a marriage union of 43 years.  Born Nov. 23,
  1920, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, son of Fred and Nora
  (Speicher) Thomas.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by wife, former
  Virginia L. Law, and these children: Susan, wife of Dick Lloyd, Watsontown;
  David, married to former Sharon Bums, Hollsopple; Dorene, wife of David
  Friedline, Rockwood; Diane Thomas, Rockwood; and Roger, married to former
  Cheryl Faros, Ligonier; also 10 grandchildren.  Brother of Mary Mardis,
  Findlay Ohio; and Betty, wife of Duane Baughman, Hollsopple RD 2.  Formerly
  employed by Hollsopple and Thomas Mills feed mills.  Army veteran of World
  War II.  Member of NRA.  Avid hunter and outdoorsman.  Family receiving
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at George E. Mason Funeral Home
  Inc., Davidsville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Revs.
  Richard Bums and Doug Bums.  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
