ELIJAH THOMAS

  Elijah Thomas, one of Markleysburg's aged and highly respected citizens, 
passed away at his home on Saturday, Jan. 27, and was buried Monday afternoon.  
Mr. Thomas was in his 85th year.
  He was the father-in-law of Mrs. Ruth Frazee Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
William Frazee of Confluence.  He is survived by his wife and four children, 
John, in New York, Clyde, in Ohio, Russell and Sadie, at home.
