  Ellen Idella (Johns) Thomas, 89, of Hollsopple RD, died Jan. 3, 2000.  Widow
  of Myron L. Thomas.  Survived by eight children, 12 grandchildren, 11
  great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Beullah Johns, Davidsville, and a
  brother-in-law Paul Thomas of Somerset.  Friends will be received from 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and
  Church Road, Davidsville.  Funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Maple
  Spring Church of the Brethren, near Jerome.  Complete obituary in the
