  Erna M. Thomas, 89, of Meyersdale, died Jan. 27, 2002 at Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale.  Born Nov. 19, 1912 in Summit Township, a daughter
  of the late John W. and Bertha A. (Griffith) Miller.  Preceded in death by
  her husband Frank C. Thomas and daughter Thelma Jean Baker.  Surviving are
  two sons, Carl and Earl Thomas, both of Meyersdale, and one sister, Edith
  Mishler of Meyersdale; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the Glade City Church of
  God.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the
  M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.  On Tuesday she will be taken to the Glade
  City Church of God to lie in state from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. time of
  service.  Pastor Milton Morris officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
