(Pete) Thomas, 82, Salisbury RD 1, formerly of Baltimore, Md., died Oct. 17, 1987, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Jan. 9, 1905, in Salisbury, son of the late Mahlon and Clara (Vogel) Thomas. Also preceded in death by sister, Grace Maust, and three brothers, Clarence, Ernest and Harry. Survived by wife, the former Amelia Skidmore, three daughters, Mrs. Emogen Christner, Salisbury; Mrs. Helen Housel, Louisville, Ky.; and Mrs. Pauline Metz, Baltimore; five sons, Mahlon, Bill and Richard, all of Baltimore; John, Limestone, Tenn.; and Ralph of Edgewood, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Moyer and Miss Roseanna Thomas, both of Florida; 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Woodworking craftsman and a retired employee of Goetzes Candy Company, Baltimore. Member ofthe Eastern Assembly of God Church, Dundalk, Md. Married in Dec. 1929, his death terminates a union of 58 years. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. George Raduano officiating.
