  FRANK C. THOMAS 

  Frank C. Thomas, 86, of Meyersdale, died Jan. 5, 1980, at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  He was born Oct. 6, 1893, in Berlin, a son of the late
  Abraham and Mary Ellen (Jones) Thomas.  He is survived by his widow, the
  former Erna Miller; two sons and one daughter: Earl F. and Carl E., both of
  Meyersdale; Velma Jean, wife of David Baker, Warren, Ohio; nine
  grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  He was a veteran of World War I
  and a member of the Meyersdale Church of God, and VFW of Salisbury.  Friends
  were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Services were
  held with the Rev. Milton Morris and the Rev. Jerry Randall.  Interment,
  Union Cemetery.  Military service was held at the cemetery.
