  HOSEA F. THOMAS 
  
  Hosea Franklin Thomas, 93, of Friendsville, Md., RD 2, died May 23, 1972,
  at his home.  A native of Garrett County, Md., he was a son of the late
  Burbridge and Mary Elizabeth (Meyers) Thomas.  His wife, the former Maggie
  Hoff, died in 1939.  He was a retired farmer and a member of Woodmen of the
  World, Camp 45.  Surviving are two sons, George W. Thomas, Midland, Md., and
  Warren G. Thomas, Friendsville: two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Fike, Farmington,
  and Mrs. Helen Harshbarger, Friendsville; also 14 grandchildren and 18
  great-grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at two
  o'clock in Sand Spring Church of God, with Rev. Ray Sloss officiating.
  Interment in Sand Spring Cemetery, under the direction of John O. Durst
  Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the
  service.
