He was born June 9, 1952, in Johnstown, son of William R. and Shirley (Spory) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Harvey Spory. He is survived by his parents, Boswell RD 1; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David E. Thomas, Johnstown; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Spory, Holsopple RD 2. He was the brother of Dale Spory, married to the former Bonnie Stevanus, Berlin RD 3; Walter R., Shirley Marie, and Kenneth, all of home; and Gloria, wife of Thomas Carnill, Aberdeen, Md. He is also survived by six nieces. He was a graduate of North Star High School, class of 1970. He was a member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club. Friends were received from 7-9 p. m. Sunday and will be received from, 10 a.m. to 9 p. m. Monday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny Street, Boswell, where services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday, the Rev.
