  John L. Thomas. 85, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 16, 1974, in Somerset.  Born
  July 18, 1889. in Bedford County, a son of the late Michael and Anna
  (Lehman) Thomas.  Preceded in death by his wife, the former Grace Witt.
  Survived by one son, the Rev. John Thomas Jr. of Sligo.  Brother of: The
  Rev. Albert of New Bethlehem: Mrs. Nora Darrah and Mrs. Grace Wahl, both of
  Meyersdale; Mrs. Alverda Waltman and Mrs. Mary Thomas, both of Cumberland,
  Md.  Friends are being received in the William R. Price Funeral Home Inc.,
  Meyersdale, where services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
  Robert Burns officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
