  THOMAS
  
  Mable Thomas, 91, formerly of Vandergrift, died Nov. 21, 2002 in the
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 26, 1911 in Vandergrift, she was the daughter
  of the late George G. and Elizabeth Loraine Freshwater and had lived in
  Vandergrift most of her life prior to moving to Somerset, in 1992.  In
  addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles
  (Bill) Thomas in 1978; two brothers, Lawrence G. and Daniel Thomas and a
  sister, Margaret P. Freshwater.  She is survived by a son, Wilbur (Bud)
  Thomas of New Centerville, four grandchildren and seven
  great-grandchildren.  She had been a member of the former Trinity United
  Presbyterian Church in Vandergrift and had been an avid bowler.  Friends may
  call from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Dunmire - Kerr Funeral
  Home, 244 Franklin Vandergrift where a service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Monday with the Rev. Dr. Douglas Stevens officiating.  Interment will be in
  Greenwood Memorial, Lower Burrell.
