MARY E. THOMAS

  Mrs. Mary E. Thomas died at the home of her daughter in Mt. Pleasant on 
Wednesday morning, February 25.
  She was born January 24, 1879, a daughter of William E. and Elizabeth (Meyers) 
Engle, and was a former resident of Meyersdale.  Her husband, Frank Thomas, 
preceded her in death.
  Surviving are three brothers: Henry, of Camden, N.J.; Conrad, Meyersdale R.D. 
1, and Irvin Engle, Meyersdale; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Wagner of Mt. 
Pleasant, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Harding of Pittsburgh.
  Her body was brought to Meyersdale and prepared for burial at the W. C. Price 
& Son funeral home, where friends are being received prior to the funeral, which 
will be held at the funeral home, Sunday afternoon at 2:30.  Interment will be 
in the Reformed Cemetery.
