Preceded in death by mother, Eva (Grasser) Saylor; stepfather, Earl Saylor; first wife, Sophia (Burdzel) Passaro; sister, Grace (Saylor) Pyle, and infant brother, John Saylor. Survived by wife, former Victoria (Pronesti) DelSignore, and these children, Debra (Thomas), wife of Mark DeFlori, Acosta; Patsy (DelSignore), wife of Merle "Pooch" Shaffer, Acosta; Anthony DelSignore, married to the former Lillian Meyers, Sterling, Va.; Victoria (DelSignore), wife of John Borosky Jr., Boswell RD 2; Joseph, married to the former Kimberly (Hull) Wilde, Hollsopple RD 1, and Michael Passaro, married to the former Trisha Roberts, Short Hills, N.J.; also 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Brother of Nancy (Saylor) Manges, Jerome: Jacob Saylor, Hollsopple RD 2; Earl "Fred" Saylor, Central City RD 1, and Anna (Saylor) Blough, Calif.; James Saylor, Stoystown RD 1; Raymond Saylor, Boswell, and Eva Mae (Saylor) Felix, Hollsopple RD 2; also special aunt, Margaret Thomas, and mother-inlaw, Ethel Pronesti, both of Boswell. Member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell, and Boswell Post 461, American Legion, where he was past commander and had served as secretary for home aid association. Currently senior vice commander and director of home aid association. Also member of Somerset Post 554, VFW; National Association of Retired Federal Employees, National Letter Carriers Association, TPA, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, Ferndale Sportsmen's Club, and Jerome Sportsmen Association. Life time member of NRA. Graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School Class of 1946. Retired rural letter carrier on Boswell RD 2. Veteran of Korean Conflict. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell. Wake service will be held Thursday evening. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church, Rev. Father Harold N. Biller. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
