Thomas, 84, Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Jenner Township, passed peacefully Oct. 31, 2005, at home surrounded by his family. Born May 27, 1921, in Jenner Township, son of James G. and Erma (Shaffer) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; infant sister, Margaret; sister, Hazel Landis; and brothers, Vernon "Bud" and Jay. Survived by wife, the former Evelyn D. Drabish; daughter, Colleen, married to Terry Gelsomino, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and grandchildren, Lauren, Brett and Erin. Air Force veteran of World War II. Member of First United Methodist Church, Boynton Beach. Former member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church, Hopewell Church Road, Hollsopple, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Wilma G. Horner officiating.
