She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Hawn, and at the time of her death was 25 years, 5 months and 2 days old. She leaves to mourn her early demise, besides her husband, an infant son eight months old, her widowed mother, one brother and two sisters namely, Mrs. Aden Bloches of Salisbury, and Mrs. Herbert Derry of Tuscarora, Md. She was a faithful member of the Brethren Church. The large concourse of friends that followed her to her last resting place, showed the esteem in which she was held. The funeral was held on Wednesday of last week with services at the Brethren Church, Rev. Wagner officiating. Interment was made in the Odd Fellow Cemetery. Meyersdale Commercial, July 31, 1913 --- Mrs. Thomas died at her home in Elk Lick on Sunday evening, of typhoid fever, aged 28 years. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10:00 o'clock. The pastor of the Evangelical Church conducted the service. Meyersdale Commercial, July 24, 1913 --- ATTENDED FUNERAL - Mr. and Mrs. John Stacer, and daughter Miss Lucy, Mrs. E. S. Kemp, P. P. Brieg, and daughters Misses Sara, Mary and Esther and one son Ambrose attended the funeral of their relative, Mrs. Nettie Thomas, at Salisbury Wednesday. Meyersdale Commercial, July 24, 1913
