  PAUL THOMAS
  
  Paul Cecil Thomas, 76, of Route 2, Accident, MD, died Wednesday, April 28,
  1993 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.  Born Sept. 24, 1916 in
  Salisbury, he was the son of the late Irvin and Mary Oester Thomas.  He was
  a member of St. John's Lutheran Church (MS), Cove, and was a volunteer
  Lutheran Braille Worker.  He retired after 38 years of service as a grader
  operator for the Garrett County Roads Department.  He is survived by his
  wife, Beulah C. (Harman) Thomas; two sons: William C. Thomas and wife
  Kimberly, Oakland, MD, and Robert P. Thomas, Accident; three daughters:
  Sharon Platter and husband Wayne, Grantsville: Kathy Thomas and Susan
  Thomas, both of Lexington, KY; one brother, Hubert Thomas, Accident: one
  aunt, Rosa Richter, Grantsville; and five grandchildren: Christine, David
  and Keith Platter; and Wesley and Nathan Thomas.  Services were held
  Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church (MS) by the Rev. Ernest Linder.
  Interment St. John's Cemetery.
