  Paula Ann Thomas, 49, Rockwood, died April 20, 2002, at Presbyterian
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born June 17, 1952 in Somerset, daughter of John
  Romanus and Doris Matilda (Gary) Pyle of Rockwood.  Preceded in death by
  daughter, Annie Alyse Thomas.  Survived by husband, Barry Alan Thomas, to
  whom she was married 19 years; son, Brit A. Thomas of Rockwood; brothers,
  Ernest J. Pyle of Rockwood, and Rick I. Pyle of Stoystown; and foster
  sister, Mrs. Constance Covey of Michigan.  Member of Christian Community
  Church of Boswell.  A 1971 graduate of Rockwood High School.  A 1973 graduate
  of the University of Pittsburgh with a BS degree in psychology.  Member of
  the Somerset Investments Club.  A self-employed writer and artist.  Friends
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the,
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
  Rev. Charles T. Kelly officiating.  Interment, New Centerville Union
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Christian Community Church, 2610
  Lincoln Highway, Stoystown. Pa., 15563.
