PAULINE THOMAS

  Mrs. Pauline Slagle Thomas, wife of Giles Thomas, Waldemer Park, Erie, died 
suddenly Monday evening and was buried Friday morning.  Her parents, the late 
John Slagle and Nellie Shuck Slagle Hatheway, and grandparents, the late Mr. and 
Mrs. Eli Shuck, were former well known residents of Meyersdale.  Mrs. Thomas is 
survived by her husband, two daughters, Maxine and Ellen Frances, her mother, 
two sisters, Evelyn of Philadelphia, and Margaret of Florida, and one brother, 
Rev. Grant Slagle of Danville, Indiana.
