PHILLIP N. THOMAS

  Phillip Thomas died at his home on Salisbury Street, Friday, May 10, at the 
age of 84 years, 9 months and 12 days.
  He was a native of Preston County, West Virginia, born August 28, 1855, the 
son of Samuel and Clarissa (Maust) Thomas, both of Clifton Mills, W.Va.
  Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Malinda Fike Thomas; two brothers, Josiah 
A., Uniontown, and James N., of Clifton Mills, W.Va.; and one sister, Mrs. 
Lucinda Carter, of Uniontown.
  Funeral services were held in the Church of the Brethren, Monday afternoon at 
2:30 o'clock, with the pastor, Rev. DeWitt L. Miller, officiating.  Interment 
followed in the Union Cemetery with W. C. Price & Son, local morticians, in 
charge.
