He was aged 49 years. Mr. Thomas had an enlargement of the heart and had ben in poor health for some time. He had risen on Saturday morning in about his usual condition, had gone into the yard and shortly after was found dead. Mr. Thomas was a miner by occupation when his health permitted him to work. He is survived by his wife and an adopted daughter. The deceased was a consistent member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, conducted by Elder J. W. Peck.
