  Robert C. Thomas, 88, Greensburg, RD 1, formerly of the Boswell area, was
  D.O.A. on Oct. 10, 1988, at District Memorial Hospital, Jeanette.  Born Oct.
  14, 1899, in Jenner Township, son of James and Lizzie (Speigle) Thomas.
  Preceded in death by: parents; wife, the former T. Irene Miller who died
  Dec. 11, 1987; seven brothers and one stepbrother.  Survived by: daughter,
  Donna, wife of Walter Castle, Greensburg, RD 1; granddaughter, Rebecca,
  wife of Richard Shaw, Irwin; grandsons: Thomas Coddington, Jeannette;
  Timothy Castle, Irwin; Theodore Castle, Greensburg; also, three
  great-grandchildren.  Member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Jennerstown.
  Attended Grace Baptist Church, Greensburg.  Owner/operator of Miller and
  Thomas Bus Lines for many years, which served the former Jenner-Boswell
  School District.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell.  Service at 11
  a.m. Thursday at Laurel Hill Tabernacle, where viewing will also be held
  from 10 a.m. to time of service, Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.
  Interment, St. James Cemetery.
