Preceded in death by parents; infant sister, Annabelle; sisters, Mary Thomas and Margaret Friedline; brother, Donald "Mickey" Thomas. Survived by wife, the former Arbutus Peterson; daughter, Connie L. Thomas, Palmetto, Fla.; sisters: Dorothy, wife of Arthur Dawson, Jennerstown, and Selene, wife of Calvin Geisweidt, Davidsville. Member of Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department and the Construction and General Laborers Local Union 910, Johnstown. Attended Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, near Jerome. Retired employee of Berkebile Brothers. Inc., Johnstown. Served in the U.S. Army. Observed 35th wedding anniversary May 18, 1997. Friends will he received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and until time of service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, Rev. Donald Speigle officiating.
