She was born in Grantsville, Md., Feb. 16, 1915, daughter of the late Jacob and Lydia Mae (Butler) Stark. She was a member of the Markleysburg Church of God. Her husband was the late Woodrow Wilson Thomas. Survivors include two sons, James L. Thomas, Jonesboro, Tenn.; and Harry W. Thomas, Markleysburg; five daughters, Lavine M. Fike, Markleysburg; Mary L. Fike, Listonburg; Edna Pearl Faulkner, Terra Alta, W.Va.; Beatrice T. Miller, Accident, Md.; and Evelyn J. Smith, Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; a half-brother, Delbert Frey, Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; two sisters, Edna Schroyer and Ida Mae Thomas, both of Markleysburg, and 18 grandchildren. Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, Md., where services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Markleysburg Church of God by the Rev. Charles MacNevin.
