  RUTH M. THOMAS
  
  Ruth M. Thomas, 87, of Wesley, Pa., died June 24, 2000, at Grove Manor,
  Grove City, Pa.  Ruth was born Feb. 6, 1913, in Somerset County, the
  daughter of Bruce and Alice E. (Faidley) Vought.  She was preceded in death
  by her parents, one son, Kenneth D. Thomas; four sisters, and six brothers.
  She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Percy J. Thomas; three
  daughters: Mrs. Eckert (Mary Alice) Laird, Lawrence, Mass.; Mrs. Richard
  (Roberta G.) Colley, Chelmsford, Mass.; and Mrs. James (Patricia)
  Rotharmel, McKeesport; one son, P. Richard Thomas, Westminster, Mass.; one
  sister, Matilda Schick, Clearwater, Fla.; 19 grandchildren, 33
  great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  Ruth lived in Venango
  County since 1973, and formerly lived in Lawrence.  She was a homemaker and
  attended Zion Wesleyan Methodist Church in Sandy Lake, Pa.  Services were
  held Tuesday, June 27, at Jamison Funeral Hdme, Harrisville, Pa., with the
  Rev. Nathaniel Tucker officiating.  Interment, Mt. Vernon Cemetery,
  McKeesport.
