  Van M. Thomas, 51, of Jerome Ave., Jerome, died June 30, 2001 at his home.
  Born Jan. 25, 1950 in Johnstown, son of Orange R. and Evelyn (Adams)
  Thomas.  Preceded in death by father, May 13, 2001.  Survived by mother, at
  home; brothers Eugene of Boswell RD and Larry, married to the former Jean
  Palmer of Richmond, Va.; five nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and
  nephews.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from noon until the
  time of service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell.  Larry C. Hoover officiating.  Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
