BENJAMIN THOMPSON

  Benjamin Thompson, 56, of Somerset, business and sales manager of Somerset 
County Memorial Park, died last Friday evening at the Somerset Community 
Hospital, where he was admitted 45 minutes earlier.  His death was attributed to 
a heart attack.
  Mr. Thompson had lived in Somerset for four years.  Surviving are his wife, 
Mrs. Margaret (Allen) Thompson; two children, Mrs. Edward Carey, Middletown, 
N.Y., and William Allen, Mahopac, N.Y.; two brothers, Ellwood and William, 
Philadelphia, and four grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:45 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Hauger 
Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Huntsman, pastor of the Somerset Methodist Church.  
The remains were taken to Philadelphia Tuesday for burial in the Arlington 
Cemetery of that city.
