  Dorothy L. Thompson, 73 of Meyersdale, died March 31, 1999, at Goodwill
  Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md.  Born July 9, 1925, in Sand Patch.  A
  daughter of the late Irvin and Vera M. (Petenbrink) Murray.  Also preceded
  in death by a son, Leroy Thompson; sister, Thelma Bittinger, and brother,
  Maurice Murray.  Survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Rosel, Morgantown, Pa.;
  two grandchildren: Greg Thompson and Michelle Thompson; six sisters: Fern
  Sturtz, Cresaptown, Md.; Janet Hochard, Boynton; Marie Bucy, Barrelville,
  Md.; Jean Miller, Berlin; Bernie Brafford and Freda Wagoner, both of Fort
  Ashby, W.Va., and three brothers: Paul Murray, Kennels Mills, and Carl
  Murray and Roy Murray, both of Meyersdale.  Also survived by a
  daughter-in-law, Karen Thompson. Meyersdale.  Friends will be received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home; Meyersdale, where
  service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, with Pastor William Davis
  officiating.  Interment, Hostetler Church Cemetery, Meyersdale.
