"Toddy" Thompson, 77, 1214 Brubaker St., Berlin, died Aug. 1, 1985, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born May 27, 1908, in Berlin, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Brant) Yutzy. Preceded in death by parents, and husband Ephram, who died in 1945. Survived by children: Dolores E. Bockes, Meyersdale; Ronald 0. Bockes, Berlin; William E. Thompson, Frederick, Md.; and Tommy 0. Thompson, Berlin; also five grandchildren. Also survived by a brother, Walter Yutzy, Donegal. Member of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, she formerly taught school in Allegheny Township and was a former tax collector in Berlin. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment private at the convenience of the family. At Mrs. Thompson's request, there will be no viewing of the remains. Daily American, August 2, 1985 [T290]
