Born July 28, 1918, in Middlecreek Township, she is the daughter of the late James and Tillie (Sheeler) Conn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Thompson; son, Ray Thompson and his wife, Sandra; daughter, Mary Ann Holloway; grandsons, James Walters and Donald Holloway; great-grandsons, Dustin Barron and Christopher Booher; brothers, Samuel, Homer, Zachariah, Wilson and Harry Thompson; and sisters, Ruth Fisher, Nora Heining, Pearl Uphouse, Hattie Stoddard and Jennie Wickam. She is survived by her children, Emma Walters and husband, James; Margaret Klink and husband, Jonas; Fred Thompson and wife, Beverly (Forrest); Betty Flowers and husband, Ray; and Hazel Pugh and husband, Roger; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie Miller. She raised Melissa and Daniel Holloway after Mary's death. She was employed by the Pine Grill Restaurant in Somerset for 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Somerset. Friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. William Dodson officiating.
