  LENA DUNLEVY THOMPSON
  
  Word has been received of the passing away on December 25, 1983, of Sister
  Lena Dunlevy Thompson, of Philadelphia.  She was 91 years old and had served
  the Lord since He raised her from a deathbed in 1922. That same year she
  obeyed the Lord's direction and took the Holy Ghost message to Somerset
  County.  Many churches presently in that area were brought forth from the
  roots of her ministry.  In 1970, Bro. Kidson and others came to western
  Pennsylvania to ordain several younger ministers.  There were 14 who came
  into the I.M.A. ministry through Sis. Thompson's ministry.  During her last
  years, she often said, "Don't retire, REFIRE!"  All who knew her will miss
  her greatly.  We extend our sympathy to her family for their loss.
