  THOMPSON
  
  Linda M. Thompson, 44, Muncie, Ind., formerly of Garrett, died Feb. 2 in
  Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.  Born March 28, 1944, in Berlin, daughter of
  James R. and Ethel (Maust) Brant of Garrett.  Also survived by husband
  Richard E., two daughters, Renee and Denise, both at home, and three
  brothers, James, Wayne and Lee Roy of Garrett.  She was a member of the Holy
  Trinity Lutheran Church in Muncie.  She graduated from Berlin-Brothersvalley
  High School in 1962 and went to Muncie in 1965, where she was employed at
  the Indiana Refrigator Line.  Friends received Tuesday 2-3 p.m. at Zion
  Lutheran Church, Meyersdale, where service is 3 p.m. with the Rev. Pamela
  Armstrong officiating.  Interment, Fritz Cemetery, Garrett RD 1, under the
  direction of Leckemby Funeral Home.
