He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Ruth Cramer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Cramer of Ursina, Pa.; by his aged father, A. L. Thompson of Wooster, O., and children, Arline and James at home. Mr. Thompson was a member of East Union Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was very active in the leadership of its young people. He taught a class of young boys and girls for many years. His class composed the choir and pall bearers for his funeral. Mr. Thompson was private secretary for the Debolt Safe & Lock Co. in Canton, O., for 11 years and for the past 17 years, operated a large store in Dalton. He lived all his life in Ohio, except for one year in Ursina, home of Mrs. Thompson. Funeral services were held April 21 in East Union Lutheran Church and burial was in the Wooster cemetery. Among relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Maurer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zehner, Mrs. Floyd Zehner and son of Somerset; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Zehner of Confluence; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Koontz, Mr. and Mrs. George Bowser of Ursina; Mrs. Albert Ringer, Miss Mary Ringer, Mrs. Walter Richter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ringer, Mrs. Thelma Richter, Accident, Md.
