  SALLIE THOMPSON 
  
  Mrs. Sallie (Strattan) Thompson, 82, of Meyersdale, died Jan. 19, 1981 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born March 20, 1898, in Pittsburgh, she was
  a daughter of the late Robert and Anna (Wilhelm) Strattan, she is survived
  by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth, wife of Russell Brown of Spout Springs, Va.,
  and three grandchildren.  She was a sister of Mrs. Mary Riley of Detroit,
  Mich.  A member of the Zion Lutheran Church, she worked as a registered
  nurse for 50 years in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital and the Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Friends were received in the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral
  Home, where services were held with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
