Born Dec. 20, 1939, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ethel (Good) Beal. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thompson Sr. in 1992. She is survived by children, Robert J. Thompson Jr., Meyersdale; Patricia Ann Alexander, Sumpter, S.C.; Nancy Stanton, Jonestown; and Rose Marie Cumming, Arizona; and seven grandchildren. Sister of Charles Beal, Meyersdale; Walter Beal, Schellsburg; William Beal, Ohio; Dinah, California; and Shirley Heining, Illinois. She was a member of the Main Street Brethren Church. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Robert Stahl officiating. She was born December 20, 1939 in Meyersdale, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ethel (Good) Beal. Thompson, Jr., Meyersdale; Patricia Ann Alexander, Sumpter, SC; two step children: Nancy Stanton, Jonestown; and Rose Marie Cumming, AZ; seven grandchildren; a sister of Charles Beal, Meyersdale; Walter Beal, Schellsburg; William Beal, OH; Dinnah Glover, CA; and Shirley Heining, IL.
