  JONAS D. TICE
  
      D. Tice, 89, Grantsville RD 1, died Friday, February 17, 1980, at the
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 15, 1899, in Middlefield, Ohio, he
  was the son of the late Daniel and Catherine (Mast) Tice.  He was preceded in
  death by his wife, Savilla (Yoder) Tice, February 23, 1977.  He was a
  self-employed farmer and carpenter and member of the Mountain View
  Christian Fellowship.  Surviving are four sons: Monroe Tire, Boynton; and
  Simon Tice, Raymond Tice and Lewis Tice, all of Grantsville, Md.; two
  daughters: Elizabeth Tice and Mrs. Melds Miller, both of Grantsville, Md.;
  two sisters: Mrs. Lydia Yoder, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Elizabeth Yoder,
  Salisbury; 27 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.  Friends were
  received at the Newman Funeral Home.  Services were conducted Tuesday at
  10:30 a.m. at the Mountain View Christian Fellowship by the Rev. Henry
  Tice.  Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
