Born Aug. 17, 1906, near Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (Beachy) Yoder. She was also preceded in death by six brothers; Clarence, Eli, Simon, Henry, Menno and Norman Yoder; four sisters: Amelia Yoder, Savilla Tice, Amanda Yoder and Annie Yoder; and one grandson, Marvin Kinsinger, Her husband, Eli D. Tice, preceded her in death Jan. 17, 1986. Mrs. Tice was a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Christian Fellowship. She was a faithful attender to the sewing circle at the church, was an avid quilter, and also knitted bandages for lepers. She is survived by a son, Henry Tice, and his wife, the former Marie Beachy; seven daughters: Edna, widow of Eli Kinsinger, Grantsville; Lena, widow of Alvin Beachy, Grantsville; Sara Tice and Verda Tice, both at home; Miriam, wife of Sanford Bender, Bittinger; Martha, wife of Simon Beachy, Grantsville; and Rachel, wife of Brenice Lee great-great-granchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Sept. 29. Services were held Monday, Sept. 30, at the Mountain View Christian Fellowship, Rev. Jerry Yoder officiating.
