TICHNELL Gilmor Stanton Tichnell, 90, of RD 3, Deer Park, Md. died Jan. 9, 1980 in CuppettWeeks Nursing Home, Oakland, Md. Born in Oakland, Md., Feb. 1, 1889, he was a son of the late William Tichnell and Ellen (Paugh) Tichnell. Twice married, he was preceded in death by both wives, Mrs. Polo (Duckworth) Tichnell and Mrs. Grace (Moon) Tichnell. He was a retired farmer and a member of Church of God of Prophecy, Deer Park, Md. Surviving are two sons, Elmer S. Tichnell Powder Springs, Ga.; Charles Tichnell, Deer Park, Md.; two stepsons, Clarence Beckman, Deer Park; Russell Beckman, Cumberland, Md.; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Carrington, Hueytown, Ala.; Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, Huntsville, Ala.; Mrs. Dorothy Steyer, Crellin; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Kathryn West, Reynoldsbur, Ohio; two brothers, Park Tichnell, Barton, Md.; Irvin Tichnell, Bloomington, Md.: 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 14 step-grandchildren. Friends were received at the John O. Durst Funeral Home. Services were conducted in Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. John R. Jones officiating. Interment in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
