  Mary P. Tims, 79, of Acosta, died March 23, 1982, at Meyersdale Community
  Hospital.  She was born March 22, 1903, a daughter of Joseph and Susan
  (Zdilla) Friskie.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1950;
  an infant daughter, Cecilia; three brothers and one sister.  She is survived
  by these children: Mary Ann, wife of Victor Gontis, Boswell RD 2; Elizabeth,
  wife of John Warner, Cleveland, Ohio; Margaret, wife of Joseph Lungo,
  Chardon, Ohio; John J., Somerset RD 1; Barbara, wife of Ralph Dain, New
  Springfield, Ohio; Agnes, wife of Melio Zanoni, and Richard, both of
  Acosta; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by three
  sisters and a brother: Sister Ann Christine, Nanticoke, Pa.; Helen Ryniak,
  Boswell; and Pauline Balchus, Pittsburgh; and Edward, Derry, Pa.  She was a
  member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta, and retired housekeeper
  for St. John's Rectory.  Friends are being received in Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home where wake service will be conducted Thursday 7 p.m.  Funeral
  Mass Friday 10 a.m. in St. John's Church; Acosta, the Rev. Benjamin Dykas.
  Interment, Ralphton Cemetery.
