  TIMS
  
  Steven Tims, 82, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Acosta, died March 11, 1981,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 5, 1898, in Youngstown, Ohio, son
  of John and Elizabeth (Novak) Tims.  Preceded in death by parents, two
  sisters and two brothers.  Survived by one sister, Mary, wife of Mike Dorin,
  Jennerstown; also a number of nieces and nephews.  He resided with his niece,
  Catherine Tims, Akron, Ohio.  Member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church,
  Akron, Ohio.  He was a veteran of World War I, and a retired employee of
  Motor Cargo, Akron, Ohio.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today
  (Thursday) at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where Wake Service will be
  conducted at 6:30 p.m. today.  Funeral Mass Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St.
  Peters Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Samuel Tomaselli.
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
