Born Aug. 9, 1925 in Champion, daughter of the late Lawrence and Vera Grimm Shawley. Survived by her husband Woodrow Tinkey and the following children: Mrs. Ronald (Vera) Burkett, Somerset; Mrs. Thomas (Florence) Smith, Somerset; and Lawrence J., of Somerset; Lewis and Devan, both at home; also the following brothers and sisters, William, Homer, Irvin, Mrs. Andrew (Betty) Jordan, and Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Ober, all of Stahlstown RD 1, Hilda and Phillip both of Somerset, Herbert and David, both of Melcroft; Vernon of Champion, Ralph of Mt. Pleasant. Friends are being received at the L. Boyd Snyder Funeral Home, Stahlstown, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 am. with the Rev. Roger Pence officiating.
