He was born April 5, 1907 in Barronvale, Pa. Son of the late Samuel H. and Ida (Pyle) Tinkey. Preceded in death by: wife, Thelma Ruth; brothers, Dewey, Floyd, Woodrow and Glenn; sons, William L. and Glenn; sisters, Viola Wiley; Sadie Eutsey Locke; Grace; and Ann Sleasman. He is survived by the following children: Ralph Jr., Somerset RD 7; Otto Zane, Manns Choice; Mrs. Elmer (Nancy Florence) Harr, Somerset RD 4; James Jehu, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Glenn (Eva Jean) Dewey, Monterey, Calif.; Harold Dean, Somerset RD 1 and Wilma Trent, Friedens. Also survived by 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Bertha Durst, Somerset; Mrs. Virginia Crook, Poland, Ohio; Jean Kenley, Akron, Ohio; and Orpha Meyers, Jerusalem, Ohio. He was a retired farmer, timberman and coal worker. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m., the Rev.
