  TIPTON
  
  Harvey Albert Tipton, 71, Friedens RD 2, died Feb. 2, 1979 in Latrobe
  Hospital.  Born April 22, 1907 in Somerset Township, he was a son off Jacob
  and Margaret (Barnhart) Tipton.  Survived by his widow, the former Margart
  Beech, and these children: Mrs. Carl Ruth Casleton, Wixom, Mich.; Richard
  E., Parma, Ohio; Wayne, Friedens RD 2; Frederick, Garfield Heights, Ohio;
  seven grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Elsie Kline and Alma Tipton, both
  of Friedens RD 2.  He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church and a retiree
  of Somerset State Hospital.  Friends are being received in the Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home.  Funeral services 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Friedens
  Lutheran Church by the Rev. James R. Ling.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. Tuesday until
  service time.
