  MARGARET HELEN TIPTON
  
  Margaret Helen Tipton, 97, Somerset, formerly of Friedens, died May 7,
  2004, at Somerset Patriot Manor.  Born May 25, 1906, in Listie, daughter of
  George Frederick and Grace (Grimes) Beech.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Harvey Albert Tipton, who died Feb. 2, 1979, grandson, Christopher
  Tipton; brother, George Beech and sister, Ethel Pollock.  Survived by
  children: Mrs. Ruth Casleton, Somerset, Richard E. Tipton, married to the
  former Geraldine Hittie of Broadview Heights, Ohio, Wayne L. Tipton,
  married to the former Carol Barndt, Somerset and Frederick M. Tipton,
  married to the former Deanna Gindlesberger, Parma, Ohio; 10 grandchildren
  and 17 great-grandchildren.  Member of Friedens Lutheran Church.  Retired
  cook for the former Roof Garden Motor Motel.  Also member of Friedens Fire
  Company Auxiliary and Miriam Hanks Circle.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  Service will be
  conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Friedens Lutheran Church.  The Rev. Edward
  DeVore officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions
  may be made to Friedens Lutheran Community Fund, 131 S. Main St., Friedens,
  Pa. 15541.  Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
