ROY LEE TIPTON

  Roy Lee Tipton, aged 46, died at 5:15 a.m., on Tuesday, July 29, at his home, 
Stoystown R.D. 1.
  He was born November 16, 1900, in Vandergrift, a son of Milton H. and Bertha 
Mae (Mason) Tipton.
  He is survived by his father, wife, (the former Mary Gertrude Faidley) and two 
children, Jack and James, at home.  A brother, Edward, of Greensburg, and a 
sister, Mrs. Homer Shaulis, of Somerset, also survive.
  Since Wednesday noon, friends are being received at the late home of the 
decedent, where prayer services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, 
followed by services at 2:30 p.m., in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, 
Jenner Crossroads, in charge of Rev. Neidermeyer, pastor of the Acosta Church of 
God.
  Mr. Tipton was a member of the Church of God in Akron, Ohio.  
  Interment in the church cemetery, in charge of the Hay Funeral Home, Boswell.
