  Mrs. Florence Tirko, 74, of Hollsopple RD 2, formerly of Listie, died June
  2, 1975, in Somerset Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1901, in
  Franklin County a daughter of Joseph and Almeda (Bittner) Dayton.  Preceded
  in death by husband, William, two sons, two daughters, one sister and two
  brothers.  He is survived by these children: Williarn Jr. of Kingston; Mrs.
  Mary Bell, and Miss Mildred, both of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Almeda Shaffer.
  Ann Shaffer, Mrs. Ellen Mae Rubis and Mrs Elizabeth Derencin, all of
  Somerset; John of Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Sally Reese of New Centerville;
  George, Joseph and Mrs. Katherine Mickey, all of Listie; Mrs. Rachel Driver
  of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Shirley Drake of Somerset RD 1; and Mrs. Julia
  Sellers of Central City.  Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 12
  great-grandchildren.  These brothers and sisters: Mrs. Esther Meyers of St.
  Thomas, Pa.; Joe of Cuyuga Falls, Ohio; William of California; Charles of
  Topeka, Kans.; John of Pittsburgh; and Clarence of Scalp Level.  Member of
  Somerset Church of the Nazarene.  Friends are being received in the Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30
  p.m. with the Rev. Warren MacEachern officiating.  Interment, Casebeer Church
  Cemetery.
