  WILLIAM TIRKO 
  
  William Tirko, 59, of Courtdale, Pa., died Nov. 7, 1979.  He was born in
  Listie, July 18, 1920.  He had resided in Courtdale the past 29 years.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Frances Knipple, daughter Sharon
  Orlowski, Dupont, Pa.; son, Ronald W., Miners Mill, Pa.; five
  grandchildren.  Brothers: John, Arlington, Va.; Joseph, Friedens; sisters:
  Julia Sellers, Central City; Sally Reese, Rockwood; Shirley Drake and
  Catherine Mickey, Listie; Mary Bell, Mildred Landsman, Almeda Shaffer, Ann
  Shaffer, Ella May Rubis and Elizabeth Direncin, all of Somerset.  Funeral
  services will be held at the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, Kingston, Pa.
  Interment, Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
