Born Dec. 12, 1914, in Accident, Md., a daughter of the late Cyrus and Ruth (Miller) Holliday. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Tissue, one son, David Tissue, two brothers, Glenn and Mark "Jack" Holliday and one sister, Thelma Holliday. Survived by three sons, Michael B. Tissue, and wife Ruth, Salisbury; Chester Max Tissue and wife, Marlene, Hagerstown, Md.; Joseph N Tissue and wife Leila, Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Sara Ruth Butler, and husband, Woody, Grantsville, Md.; one daughter-in-law, Marcelene Tissue, Sharpsburg, Md.; two brothers, Ross Holliday, Rockville, Md.; Robert Holliday, Harnedsville; three sisters, Auburn Fike, Somerset; Irene Sebold, Hagerstown, Md.; Ruth Wirsing, Addison; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Member of State Line United Methodist Church where she was a member of the W.S.C.S., taught Sunday School and bible school and was custodian for a number of years. She was a great flower gardener. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Homes, RA., Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Brenda Shreve officiating.
