Tissue, 90, Addison, died March 18, 2004, at his home. He was born Nov. 5, 1913, in Ohiopyle, a son of the late Joseph H. and Ada E. (Skinner) Tissue. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by wives, Pauline (Lancaster) Tissue and Virginia (Pirl) Bell Tissue; brothers Dorman and Kenneth, and sisters Theona Sapp, Ida Bell Wilkie, Minnie Oldland and an infant sister Lillian. He is survived by daughters, Jo Ann Weimer, Somerset; Beverly Diehl, Addison; sons, Grant, Daniel and Raymond, all of Confluence; William Dale, Ohiopyle; and Dwight, Addison; 27 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. He was member of the Addison United Methodist Church and served in the Pennsylvania National Guard. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Timothy Rogers officiating.
